Examining the environmental consequences of indoor thermal comfort across the Asia Pacific Free Attendance

This one-day workshop addresses the future of thermal comfort and the environmental consequences surrounding the rapid uptake of air conditioning across Australia, Asia and the Middle East. As part of an ARC Discovery international collaboration, speakers will debate the future of thermal comfort and discuss how we might promote alternative comfort practices that reduce the carbon footprint of our built environment. The workshop will also officially launch the project’s online knowledge platform (this website) – comfortfutures.com.
